I agree with the sentiment that communities can't be created autonomously. Maybe we'll see a role of community builder emerge with the next generation of DAOs.
Along those lines, does anyone know of a DAO that does not yet have an online community but wants to build one? I'd be interested in helping to make that happen.

I think a minimum feature set could include the following:
1) top-down planned monthly (interactive) Zoom meetings that incorporate "liberating structures",
2) impromptu meetings (a system for notifying when people are available for an audio/video chat just for fun or networking),
3) a discussion forum and/or chat system (Slack, Mattermost, Discord, etc), and
4) especially at the beginning, paying a member of the DAO to serve as a community builder, approved by DAO members as any contract would need to be.
